The PK-SM-2100 is a high-performance stainless steel magnet designed for precast concrete production. It features a durable 304 grade stainless steel housing and delivers a powerful 2100 kg vertical holding force. The magnet is used to securely fix side forms and shutters to steel casting beds without the need for welding, drilling or traditional clamping methods. The PK-SM-2100 is compatible with the PK-SMA-105 attachment for fixing to timber or steel shutters. The 304 stainless steel body provides excellent corrosion resistance in wet and aggressive concrete environments, making it ideal for daily use in Australian precast yards.

STANDARD INSTALLATION
1. Ensure the steel casting bed is clean and free of debris.
2. Position the magnet against the formwork or shutter in the desired location.
3. Push the button down firmly to engage the magnet.
4. To release, lift the button using the ProKast release lever
PK-MRL-01.
Important: always place the magnet gently onto the bed. Do not drop or strike it.
WITH PK-SMA-105 ATTACHMENT
1. Attach the PK-SMA-105 bracket to the PK-SM-2100 magnet.
2. Screw the complete assembly securely onto the timber or
steel shutter.
3. Position the assembly on the clean steel casting bed.
4. Push the magnet button down firmly to engage.
5. To release, use the ProKast release lever PK-MRL-01.
Important: never strike the magnet with a hammer.
Care & Maintenance
Care & Maintenance
▪ Clean the magnetic face after every use to remove concrete slurry and debris.
▪ Wipe the stainless steel body with a clean cloth.
▪ Apply a light coat of form oil or protective spray if storing for extended periods.
▪ Store in a dry area.
▪ Never strike the magnet with a hammer or weld near it - heat will permanently damage the internal neodymium magnets.

Warranty
ProKast provides a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal precast yard use, commencing from the date of delivery. Warranty is void if the product is damaged by hammering, welding, improper cleaning, or other misuse. This warranty is in addition to, and does not exclude, any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
