At ProKast, we supply high-quality neodymium precast concrete magnets and magnetic steel chamfers to precast yards and construction sites across Australia. We understand that in the precast industry, delays cost money. That’s why we are committed to getting our heavy B2B construction products to your yard safely and efficiently.
All orders are dispatched from our Melbourne warehouse. While our primary focus is fast local delivery within Melbourne, we proudly ship Australia-wide to support precast operations in every state and territory.
This page outlines your rights as a consumer, our voluntary warranty against defects, and our returns policy to ensure you have complete confidence when investing in ProKast systems.
Shipping Methods
Due to the heavy and industrial nature of our products, we utilize specialized freight and courier services to ensure safe transit:
- Smaller Orders: Dispatched via reliable national courier networks.
- Bulk & Pallet Orders: We organize heavy transport primarily with Metrans. We are fully equipped with an onsite forklift at our Melbourne facility to handle heavy, palletized loads efficiently.
Dispatch Time: We aim to dispatch all in-stock items within 1–2 business days of cleared payment.
Delivery Times & Lead Times
Delivery timeframes depend on whether the items are currently in stock or require custom manufacturing, as well as your location.

Shipping Costs
Because our products vary significantly in weight and volume (from individual magnets to bulk lengths of steel chamfer), shipping costs are calculated based on the specific requirements of your order:
- Freight Quotes: For large, heavy, or palletized orders, freight is quoted on request to ensure you get the most accurate and competitive transport rate via Metrans or our other freight partners.
- Standard Rates: For smaller orders, a weight-based shipping rate will be applied at checkout or quoted directly by our sales team.
Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched from our Melbourne warehouse, you will receive a notification containing your tracking details or the freight consignment number. This allows your yard manager or receiving team to monitor the shipment and prepare for unloading.
What Happens If There’s a Delay
While we work closely with our freight partners to meet estimated delivery times, unforeseen delays can occur due to weather, network disruptions, or remote delivery challenges. If your shipment is significantly delayed, please contact us. We will proactively trace the freight and keep you updated on the revised ETA.
Damaged or Lost Shipments
We take great care in packaging our heavy steel and magnetic products to withstand transit. However, under Australian Consumer Law and standard freight terms:
- Transfer of Risk: Risk passes to the customer once the goods are handed to the carrier.
- Inspection on Arrival: It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the goods upon delivery before signing the proof of delivery (POD).
- Reporting Damage: If your order arrives damaged, you must note the damage on the driver’s delivery docket and take clear photographs immediately.
If a shipment is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours. We are committed to working with you and the freight carrier to resolve the issue, whether that involves a freight claim, replacement, or repair.
International Shipping
At this time, ProKast is focused on supporting the Australian precast industry. We do not ship internationally. All orders must have an Australian delivery address.
